Vellayappam Recipe VELLA APPAM #43dc81 HOW TO PREPARE VELLA APPAM Velleppam or white appam is a famous traditional morning breakfast item of Kerala. Ingredients Rice plain or Kachha Rice-2 cup. Coconut water, water, salt to taste. Mode of Preparation Take 2 cup rice after cleaning and soak in water for one hour. Grind it to loose batter. Keep aside add coconut water one cup into it. Next day morning mix well the prepared batter after adding 1 tbsp salt or as required. Heat Appam Tava and 1tbsp oil spread it in tawa. The tava should be round conic shape and 2-3 inch depth. The tava for making vella appam is available in the market.
